The 6th Typhoon ‘Kahnun’ is said to be moving toward the southeast of Okinawa, Japan. Having started early July 28th in the Southwest of Guam, Kahnun, a type of tropical fruit, is a name created by Thailand’s World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Typhoon Committee.
According to the Korea’s Meteorological Administration, this sixth typhoon is expected to move northwest, about 1040km southeast of Okinawa, Japan. It is also reported, by the 30th, to have a maximum wind speed of 29m/s and a speed of 104km/h.
Though current predictions project minimal damage to Korea, influence and damage on parts of Seogwipo, Jeju Island seems inevitable.

Heat in Korea is currently getting worse, with heat wave warnings being communicated to most areas of Korea.
Unfortunately, because Korea isn’t prospected to be impacted by the typhoon, temperature abation seems challenging. Nevertheless, as this weekend rain is expected, the temperature could temporarily decrease.
To conclude, preparation for heat waves are essential. Drinking a lot of water and bringing a tumblr when going outdoors to replenish your hydration, minimizing daytime activity, and using suncream, facile parasols, and sunglasses will be crucial.
